Whether your fun lies in sessioning flowtrails or exploring new and secret trails, the Hyrax is the perfect all-rounder that will be just at home on the majority of Enduro race tracks. The HYRAX is a new addition to our lineup – the baby brother to the SLAKLINE, it displays very similar characteristics to our STAGE and STAGE MAX in terms of pedaling efficiency however has a more progressive spring rate for bigger hits.
Hence the name HYRAX which is the scientific name for our indigenous Rock Rabbit or Dassie (pronounced Dussy). The Hyrax is the closest living relative to the African Elephant and is extremely fast and nimble on rocky uneven terrain. They live in family groups and have predetermined escape lines should they ever be in danger.
Their feet are soft & tacky, giving them incredible traction and agility…..

The HYRAX has an adjustable geometry with two settings, high and low. The high mode sets the head angle at 66 degrees while the low mode drops it to 65.5 degrees. The high setting will give you that perfect GEO for the all day tour. Heading to a bike park? Switch to low and get stuck into those berms.
