The Starling Cycles MegaMurmur combines 29″ wheels with 165mm rear travel, 170mm front travel and our award-winning steel frameset.
Building on the success of the Murmur, we’ve boosted those numbers up a notch for bigger terrain and harder charging.
Longer travel and with a longer swing arm than the classic Murmur, the MegaMurmur is for race tracks, big mountains, bike parks, downhill tracks, the Enduro World Cup, and seasons in the mountains. It’s also for taller riders that will benefit from a longer swingarm, creating a more balanced and better-fitting bike.
The MegaMurmur is fully UK-made with both the front triangle and swing-arm manufactured in Britain.

Trail Mode
29″ wheels, 140mm rear travel using a 210x55mm shock and ideally suited to a 140mm fork.
In Trail mode the MegaMurmur is set up to go anywhere and ride anything. From your favourite tech trail, to a local enduro race to those epics in the hills, it’ll fly through it all.
That unmistakable ‘feeling’ of steel, big wheels, mid-travel and perfect geometry make this a hell of a bike. It’ll haul ass through rough, nasty terrain but remains lively, responsive and easy to rip back up for another run (and another, and another).
Switch Trail to Enduro mode: Murmur, Twist and Swoop frames are now built to fit 210mm and 230mm shocks using an adjustable shock mount, allowing Trail and Enduro modes on a single frame. No need to change your frame to go up or down travel, simply swap your shock position and switch fork/shock to suit.

Enduro Mode
29″ wheels, 165mm rear travel using a 230x65mm shock and ideally suited to a 170mm fork.
In Enduro mode the MegaMurmur is the racer’s choice. Built to go flat out between the tape or in the mountains.
The Murmur is built for raw speed, bags of confidence and full control. It’s the perfect choice for privateer racers, bike-park lappers or big-mountain senders. If speed is your goal, the MegaMurmur is your tool to achieve it.
